Fire Fighter – Replacement locks

Your chosen Phoenix Safes Fire Fighter, safe with key locks old model 0412 Series, was a dual key locking safe with two keys per lock. Sadly, keys are no longer available, however, we can still supply replacement cylinder locks with 2 keys per lock.

Lost Keys

In the event of lost keys, it is advisable to change the lock(s). The price suggested is for a pair (2) of cylinder locks with different keys. It also includes post and packing to a UK Mainland address

Lock changing

With the safe door open, remove the steel (pan) plate to view the safes internal mechanics. You should see the original locks with their cam bars. Remove the cams carefully with a screwdriver, you should see a locking nut or holding pin (depends on lock type) the nut should be tight and may require a spanner to loosen for unthreading. (Sometimes a bit of persuasion with a flat driver and hammer helps).

Just do the reverse operation to fit the new locks.
